Electrical Panel Upgrades in Portsmouth, VA

I called expressing interest in a generator this past Monday (9/14/26. I spoke to Dan and he came to my house today (9/16/ 26)for an overall inspection of the house as well as answering questions regarding personal needs and wants ! Dan was knowledgeable, answered all questions and said he would get back with us the next day with a quote! Thank you Dan!

I am happy with today’s service by Thomas and Neil. They came in and immediately understood the problem and got right to it. Great conversation and information was given amongst them and myself. Their work was very efficient and uniform.

We've used Dan Levinsky & Sons multiple times! They are thorough, and explain everything they're doing. We had them out today to fix an issue my son was having in his room. Steve and Zach came on time, inspected and repaired the issue. They explained what was wrong, and how they fixed it! We will always continue to use Dan Levinsky & Sons..the work is top notch, and they're all very knowledgeable.

For our current projects, Steve clearly laid out all of the available options and even allowed me to walk along with him while he worked. Steve Kunkler did an excellent job fixing a light fixture and replaced some outdated outlets we had. He was kind and communicated clearly what the problem was and what needed to be repaired. I would definitely recommend him to someone that needed an electrician!

Dan’s technicians Tommy and Neil came out to my moms house and ran a new emergency disconnect for a mini split unit she is having installed. The team was very polite and professional. They even went the extra mile and took care of some additional work in the panel box for us. Would highly recommend and will for sure use them again in the future

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dan Levinsky & Sons Electrical Services, and we cannot say enough great things about Aubrey, the electrician who came out to our home. We initially called after losing all power to two exterior walls of our home. Aubrey was incredibly thorough in troubleshooting the issue and quickly discovered multiple faulty wiring issues within several outlets. He didn’t stop at simply identifying the immediate problem—he took the time to investigate further and make sure there weren’t additional electrical hazards that could put our home or family at risk. During his inspection, Aubrey also discovered that our HVAC system had been wired improperly and unsafely, creating a potential fire hazard and code-compliance issue. This was something we had no idea was present, and we are incredibly grateful that Aubrey was knowledgeable and diligent enough to identify it. What meant the most to us was Aubrey’s genuine focus on safety and protecting our family. He took the time to explain the issues, why they were concerning, and what needed to be done to make our home safer. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond gave us tremendous peace of mind. Knowing that he was looking at our electrical system with the mindset of “Is this safe for this family?” rather than simply “What can I fix today?” really meant so much to us.
