I cannot recommend this company enough. My panel box caught fire and I had my wife and two year old inside along with all of our pets. Luckily, we got the fire put out fast enough to prevent any serious damage but we were obviously without power. Called first thing in the morning. But they didn’t have any openings for the day. The receptionist was very nice on the phone and easy to talk to. I explained our family situation and the current electrical issue. She immediately said “let me call Dan and see if we can make this happen today”. Called me back in less than 10 minutes and said the next technicians to finish their current job will be coming to our home. They gave us a 2pm to 4pm window. Tech called around 3pm to let us know they were heading our way. They inspected the issues and fixed them in no time. Tech’s took time to explain the issues and what they were doing to fix them. Also told us what they thought of the condition of the breaker box and other outlets. They didn’t push/pressure any additional repairs. Tech’s were very nice and didn’t mind making conversation. I’m glad they were able to fix the issue the same day cause we have alot going on starting tomorrow. When I was told the bill total, I was very surprised in a good way. 100% satisfied. Cane quickly on an emergent wiring problem on a Friday night when we lost Internet, diagnosed the problem quickly and assuredly said we'd have electricity back the same night. And we did. On December 9, I experienced a second fire at my house originating from the meter box. Earlier this year, Justin and his crew had responded to a house fire. Although this incident was separate, the company was responsive and came to my home to assess the damages. They managed to replace the box within a day, but DOMINION POWER did not respond in a timely manner for an emergency situation. Dan's team came in a changed all of my wall outlets due to they are out dated and wired improperly. They found wires that were melted together and could cause a fire! I am a class A contractor and constantly on contracts that need electrical. He has done a full kitchen rewire and he has serviced my own house. I just found the perfect electrician, quality work, fast service at a good price. Dan did an outstanding job and Lisa office manager was very helpful and kind. My doorbell was removed by my previous tenant that installed a camera doorbell. We weren’t sure where it was as the old wiring access was covered up and painted over. I initially called another electrician and they wanted to charge more than twice as much for a completely new doorbell. I had a meter box problem and a friend referred Dan Levinsky & Sons. Dan came out the next day, did a thorough inspection, found the problem was that our ancient box was melting Dominion Power's meter, and scheduled the replacement. The work was done for a fair price, the electrician was clean and respectful of the property, knowledgeable about the situation, and requested the city inspector to call Dominion Power while he waited. These guys are the most polite, professional and knowledgeable electricians! My home was struck by lightning recently and they were recommended for the electrical repairs. It seems like a cliche, but we woke up to a blown GFCI breaker killing our entire kitchen . . . on the 4th of July. They had a technician (Drake) out to the house in less than two hours, and the bad breaker was replaced in less than an hour. While replacing the breaker, Drake also suggested a couple of longer-term changes to the kitchen's circuits to help reduce the probability of future problems. Called Dan Levinsky & Sons Electrical due to a GFCI outlet in my garage that was constantly tripping offline. When other companies couldn't schedule a same day appointment, Dan Levinsky & Son found a way to send a tech within hours. Electricians Julio and David arrived at the house, quickly diagnosed the exterior outlet that was causing the GFCI outlet to trip. In the pouring rain, they changed all the exterior outlets to weather resistant outlet, replaced the protective covers, and upgrades the GFCI to code standards. Pricing was fair.
